Hard resetting and factory resetting your Meizu MX4 device helps to format the device system. It’s always advisable to hard reset your Meizu MX4 device whenever you notice much lag or freezes on your device, or maybe, your device got bricked or has encountered so many unexceptional errors, then it would be okay for you to take a fresh start with the device.
Before you try the factory reset or hard reset on your device, make sure that you have backup your important files. Restoring the default settings or factory reset your device will delete all your existing files and will go back to its initial state.
Factory Reset:
1.Go to Settings and select About Phone
2.Storage option selected
3.Select Factory Reset
Just wait for the phone ends the process and when it does device will delete all your existing files and will go back to its initial state.
Hard Reset:
Charge the battery fully so that it will not interrupt the process .
1.Press and hold the volume + button and on / off buttons.
2.Wait until the phone screen menu appear and release both buttons.
3.Scroll with the volume keys to the System Upgrade and Clear Data option.
4.Use the Volume keys to scroll to the Start option and select it by pressing the on / off.
Once done and after the phone makes the whole process the phone will return to its initial configuration.
