iPhone 5::3 Method on How to mute your iPhone 5

Beyond shutting down your phone completely, here are a few tricks/options for keeping your iphone5 silenced. It could be the difference between being "that weirdo" and being a polite phone user out in public. To mute or silence your iPhone 5, follow the steps below. From the home screen tap Settings. After selecting it, tap General. Then Next, tap Sounds. This take you to a sound menu. Here you can completely shut off the ringer and notifications. You can also turn off vibrate. To silence your iPhone 5 with an even easier method, follow the second trick below. Wake your iPhone 5. Flip the switch on the left. Your iPhone5 ringer will now be turned off. Depending on your setting, though, this method may switch your iPhone to vibrate only mode. The third trick is the Do Not Disturb method. Here it is below. From the iPhone 5 home screen, select Settings. From the Settings screen, scroll down and turn on the "Do Not Disturb" switch. This will stop all notifications and calls until you flip the switch to off. To set a "Do Not Disturb" schedule, select Notifications inside the Settings screen. Here you can set specific "Do Not Disturb" times and even configure your iPhone 5 so it allows calls from certain people. That's it!
