How to Transfer Your Contacts list from iPhone to Huawei Ascend Mate2

If you are among the people switching from the iPhone  to Huawei Ascend Mate2 the first important thing you are need to do is to import your contact list from the iPhone  to Huawei Ascend Mate2.


Here are few instruction to follow to complete the  setup.

1.TURN ON BLUETOOTH
 The first step you want to do is to turn on your iPhone  Bluetooth and from the iPhone go to your setting > Bluetooth and toggle the Bluetooth switch to the on position.

2.ACCESS YOUR CONTACTS

The second thing you want to do is to go to your contacts on your Huawei Ascend Mate2.By default, the contact app is located on the home screen. See the photo below
 

3.MANAGE CONTACTS 

Once you are in the contacts app on the Ascend Mate2,Here you have to click on the settings option on the bottom right.






From this menu, continue to select the more option.



From here, you should be able to see the “manage contacts” option




4.IMPORT VIA BLUETOOTH

You have to click the Import via Bluetooth option which should automatically turn on the Bluetooth on your Mate2 (if it is not on already) and start scanning for your iPhone that is nearby.


If your iPhone does not show up, make sure your iPhone is on the bluetooth discoverable screen shown in the first picture. Refresh the scan on the Mate2 and it should pop up.



Once the Mate2 finds your iPhone, select it, and you will be presented with a pairing request. Make sure you select pair for both the Mate2 and on your iPhone to start the import process.




The import process should immediately start after you have paired both devices. Depending on how large of a contact list you have this may take a few seconds to minutes to complete the process
