1.MOUNT THE MOTHERBOARD AND APPLY POWER. When installing the motherboard to the case use the power guide line for mounting the motherboard to the chassis then attach the power cable supply connect on the PC speaker only,no RAM no video card.Power the system up and listen for three low toned beeps,If you here these beeps the motherboard is in good condition and make sure that the board is not grounding out.if these does not resolve the problem replace the motherboard. 2.INSTALL THE MEMORY Install the memory to the motherboard be sure to put in the right SIMM socket you may need to set sum jumper on the board to get the memory to recognized properly and also many logic board(motherboard) require more than one SIMM on the board at a time so once you install the memory power up the system and listen for different set of beeps,This beep are telling you that the video card can not be found so if you get such a beeps sequence you continue and install a video card. 3.INSTALL THE VIDEO CARD AND MONITOR When you have the motherboard and the memory installed correctly then you can install the video card into the system and attach the monitor, when properly installed you should be able to see the computer going though POST on the screen. If not you may have the problem with the video card or the monitor. If the system hang after installing the video card is probably defective or not installed correctly. 4.INSTALL DRIVE AND DRIVER CONTROLLER When you have the motherboard,RAM and video card installed properly attach the drive to the driver controller/interface.Be sure to get the cable stripes attached next to pin I on the interface connector. Also be sure to attach power cable system to the drive and also you may now also install the keyboard. 5.POWER UP AND RUN THE CMOS SET UP PROGRAM ON THE BIOS When the driver are full connected then set up program watch the screen to tell you what keystroke to use in order to enter the set up program,Use the auto detect feature to detect the IDE class hard drive in your system.if the auto detect feature does not find the hard drive in your system then power down and recheck your connection
