1. Performing a factory reset will change your phone back to its original state before the first time you turned it on.
If you're passing your phone on to someone else or your phone has a persistent problem that cannot be solved, you can perform a factory reset
Factory reset is not a step to be taken lightly. It'll permanently delete all your data and customized settings, and will remove any apps you've downloaded and installed.
Be sure to back up any data and files you want to keep before you do a factory reset.
All you need to do is
2. from the Start screen, slide to the left.
3. scroll and click Settings
4. scroll and click the about option.
5. scroll and click the reset your phone option.
6. A warning message will now be displayed >>> Resetting your phone will erase all your personal content, including apps that you have purchased and downloaded and will restore the factory settings. Do you want to continue
7. click yes
8. A warning message will be displayed >>> Are you sure you want to erase all of your personal content from your phone
9. click yes
10. and that's it You will now be able to perform a factory reset.
