Arithimetic and logic unit

The arithmetic and logic unit are note single entity but normally composed of two separate unit whose its operation is highly dependent  on the select input.                                                                                                                                   ARITHMETIC UNIT.Arithmetic unit this it takes the basic operation such as addition and substitution.The multiplication and the division operation are dependent on the basic operation and bit shifting.                                                                                                                        LOGIC UNITY. A logic unit this is the hardware unit which is implemented for performing basic operation such as OR,AND,NOT and NAND,A particular logical operation is selected using a ratio 4:1
