Steps on how to Backup and restore your BlackBerry Z10

Steps To install BlackBerry Link:

1. Download BlackBerry Link
2. Install BlackBerry Link
3. Open BlackBerry Link
4. Give your computer a name
5. Set up the libraries you want BlackBerry Link to see
6. Sign in with your BlackBerry ID

Backup a BlackBerry 10 Device

To back up your BlackBerry 10 device or Playbook running BlackBerry 10

1. Open BlackBerry Link
2. Click on the device along the bottom.
3. Click on the Settings icon
4. Click on Backup Now

Restore Data on the Z10

You can restore an entire device or just part of the data, as in previous versions of BlackBerry Desktop Software. To restore your device to a previous backup follow the step below

1. Open BlackBerry Link
2. Click on the device along the bottom
3. Click on the Settings icon
4. Click on Restore device data
5. Select Restore from backup file
6. Select the data to restore
7. Click Restore

Reload a non-working Z10

To reload the operating system for a device which is unresponsive

1. Open BlackBerry Link
2. Click on the device along the bottom
3. Click on the Settings icon
4. Click on Restore device data
5. Select Restore from backup file or Restore to factory settings
6. Click Restore now
