LG Optimus G:How to create a portable Wi-Fi hotspot on your LG Optimus G

The LG Optimus G is a great device that giving you all the power of a high-end smartphone with a good sized screen and a number of other features. It’s also useful if you need to connect to the internet using another device that does not have 3G or a wired connection as it can share its cellular data connection.

• Grab your LG Optimus G
• From your homescreen, tap ‘Menu’
• Go to ‘All Settings’
• Hit the ‘Networks’ tab
• Tap ‘Connectivity’
• Choose ‘Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot’
• Tap ‘Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot’ again to activate the hotspot
• If you wish to add a password to your hotspot, for instance if you are in a public place and do not want your connection open to everyone near you, you may  go to ‘Configure Wi-Fi Hotspot’ and follow the steps to add security.

3. If you want to proceed in restoring the factory settings, tap Factory data reset.

4. Then tap Reset phone.
